Wat Lao
Phosiesattanak Temple of America serves as a place of worship for the
Laotian community and anyone interested in the Buddhist religion. The
main goal of Buddhism is to create a harmonious and peaceful world by
incorporating compassion, morality, generosity and meditation in its
teachings. Wat Lao Phosiessattank's purpose is to educate and preserve
the fundamental teachings of Buddhism to all generations. Wat Lao Phosiesattanak was established in 1991 and was granted as a temple on March 28, 1994 and serves the growing population of the Laotian community in Sacramento. We welcome anyone who is interested in Buddhism. We are located at 4845 Rio Linda Blvd. Sacramento, CA 95838. We have 5 Monks who reside at the Wat Lao Phosiesattanak Sacramento Temple and is a nonprofit organization under 501(c) 3 federal exempt. The Temple is a 2.5+acres of land in the suburban area in the middle of Rio Linda Lot. This Temple has gain the faith of many supporters from the Laotian community and other Asian American communities.
